What a great weekend for collegiate skiing in the Midwest! The 2014 Midwest Regional Championships was hosted by P.I.T.S. and the University of Illinois-Urbana Champagne that made for a very well run and organized tournament. We as a region are very appreciative of all the hard work that both parties contributed to make this event the success that it was.
This last weekend was the most outstanding weather for a tournament and couldn’t have happened at a better time. Both the women and men of the Midwest took to the water with one thing in mind, nationals. A huge congrats to all 16 teams that competed and best of luck to the top 6 finishing teams that qualified for nationals and our continued luck to teams 7, 8 and 9 that are entered in the Wildcard tournament next Monday, October 6th.
