Allison Hinrichs has been an instrumental team player for the University of Nebraska- Lincoln Waterski Club. Where do we even start haha… she was a major player in the team making it to nationals for the first time ever. While competing at nationals she had pb’s in all three events where she got second overall. She had a 5 foot pb of 87 feet which put her in second place overall, as well as 4th in trick and 4th in slalom with a 1 buoy pb of 3@22 off. She easily demolished all three women’s records at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. All fall (and really all of her school career) she was found in the boat coaching and teaching other skiers. She focused so much of her time on other people’s skiing and making sure to teach in any way she could. She was hands down the best cheerleader UNL ski team has ever seen this fall while competing at every tournament. She promoted better team spirit and engagement from everyone. While being an awesome student at UNL she managed to complete a double major. She co-coordinated and ran Night Jam which is a pro tournament put on at Bennett’s Waterski School. She has her safety, judges, and scorers ratings making her a very useful tool at any tournament. Through her schooling Allie was a president for 2 years as well as a captain for 2 years leading Nebraska to be the best they could. Allie deserves to be the most outstanding senior female after how many teams and other skiers she has supported.
