    University of Cincinnati

This is my first year on the university of Cincinnati ski team. Over my first year we have grown to be so much more than just a team but a tightly knit family. We have really learned to sharpen each other’s waterski skills and help people to grow personally and professionally. For example I have gotten internships and jobs from my relationships with people on the ski team. We were also able to make it to nationals this year and share the accomplishment together, this will always be one of my favorite college memories. Some of my favorite memories with the team are volunteering at Ampuski, late night food after practices, and skiing during the off season!

    Brayden Patton – UC
Brayden is a senior at UC, before joining the club Brayden has never slalomed, tricked, or jumped but he has become a valuable asset to the team as a 3 eventer and one of the leading scorers on the team. The 3 events did not come easy to him and I especially admire how he paved the way for people who jump on wakeboards. I often walked in on him studying professional wakeboarders jump off of ramps as well as talking to other people to learn new jump strategy’s.
Even more important than his personal accomplishments is his dedication to the team. He has worked tirelessly to make sure that our team is successful and everyone feels at home on the team. He has always taken officer positions and is currently the president of our club. He has spent many late nights working on waterski team related work and many early mornings driving skiers on the water. The UC waterski team would truly not be the same with out all of his hard work.
