I would like to nominate Katie Harvat for Miami University. She is always cheering for every single skier, making sure to see them off the dock and out of the lake after. She sets an amazing example for Miami through spirit and work. As the Vice President, she works on a lot of things behind the scenes that wouldn’t get done otherwise. She is so dedicated and spends a lot of time outside of practice and meetings to improve anything she can for Miami’s team.

I would like to nominate Cam Kerns for Miami University. Cam is an absolute asset for our team and we definitely would not have been as successful without him. He led Miami to D1 nationals two years in a row!! He is an amazing leader who created a fun, dedicated environment at Miami. I hope Miami can continue the legacy Cam created and continue to progress in the D1 division.

I would like to nominate Mary Nelson for Miami U. She was always there for every skier (even after over-heating at Nationals and having to get some medical attention). She was at the lake practicing and coaching 4 out of the 5 days of the week during ski season. Mary is very dedicated to the Miami Team, is a phenomenal skier, and genuinely cares for every skiers success!!

I would like to nominate Joey (JJ) Mascadri from Miami U. He is a wakeboarder who jumps with a PB of 89 ft. At Regionals this past year, JJ literally hit the side curtain after cutting way to late on a 3/4 cut. He ended up jumping again after hitting the curtain and landing mid-80s.
