What skier posted the biggest scores and helped carry their team to victory of the past season?
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln would like to nominate Sam Weber as the most valuable skier. Sam easily demolished records previously held by members on the University of Nebraska Lincoln team. While making it to nationals for the first time he managed to get himself in a two-way tie and won in the slalom event and scoring some major team points. While Sam’s scores have been helpful on the water, he has been a major leader off the water. He served as the team president and oversaw all of the achievements covered in the Team Nomination
Michigan states Aidan Hughes, he continually dominated every single tournament and for the past two years has pb’d in every single event at regionals. He is a great skier and helps our team in all 3 events while also being a great asset to the team
I nominate Samuel Strachan. Sam was the only male three eventer on the UW-Madison ski team. He consistently produced high scores in all three events and was crucial to the success of our team.
I also nominate Aidan Hughes from Michigan State. In addition to what Zach said, Aidan is a very reliable skier and always performs well in all 3 events. Throughout the season he continued to improve his scores and helped coach some of our skiers as well.
I nominate Sam Weber for Most Valuable Skier, not only does he consistently post scores but he also is able to bring connections from AWSA into the Collegiate Ski world. He is one of the most humble well versed skiers I have met during my time skiing in college.
