What skier has been the most supportive over the past year? Maybe they helped carry jumpers down the lake for every skier on your team. Or possibly helped coach and drive practice all season?

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln would like to nominate Abai Aydt for the Most Supportive Skier award. Jackies enthusiasm is next to none, and she was always there to cheer on every skier. It is amazing to see such a new addition be so invested in the team and sport as a whole.
Michigans states megan Neiters, as well as being vice president she continuously cheered every single person off the dock and was always there to help new skiers. When I couldn’t be there for a tournament she stepped into the role as captain and made sure everyone was relaxed and ready to do their best. She always helped cheer people on and encourage them even when they may not have done what they wanted to do.
Miami University’s Katie Harvat is the most supportive and hardworking skiers I have ever seen. I have never seen her miss picking up a skier after their run to tunnel them out of the water even if it is the last skier of the day. She puts her all into everything she does for this team and was recently elected Vice President. This past season she worked tirelessly every tournament making sure things were organized and skis were where they needed to be. I remember our B team trick all needed the same skis and Katie alone volunteered to keep running up and down the lake to return the skis. She always puts every one before herself and is the best role model for our team.
I would like to nominate Katie Harvat for Miami University. She is always cheering for every single skier, making sure to see them off the dock and out of the lake after. She sets an amazing example for Miami through spirit and work. As the Vice President, she works on a lot of things behind the scenes that wouldn’t get done otherwise. She is so dedicated and spends a lot of time outside of practice and meetings to improve anything she can for Miami’s team.
