What skier has been the most supportive over the past year? Maybe they helped carry jumpers down the lake for every skier on your team. Or possibly helped coach and drive practice all season?

Anna Prior from Ohio State has contributed so much to our team on and off the water. She is the definition of supportive: always offering rides, organizing events, and making sure everyone felt welcome and excited to be skiing. At tournaments, she was always helping with something or seeing a skier off the dock! At practices she would help coach, drive, or offer encouragement. Her contribution to the team has been incredible!
Krista Bartholomey- WMU
Krista joined the team in the spring of 2019 and has supported Western’s growth since she joined. Coming to winter conference after only knowing the team for a short week and participating in all of our docks and lifts fundraisers. She’s eager to learn more about the course, the trick ski, and stomped her first land at conference with a 31 foot jump! After this season, Krista supported our team more by becoming a loyal member of our executive board. Krista does all of the little things on the team that actually make a huge difference- sending out Christmas cards, making beautiful canvases for us to bring to recruitment tabling and tournaments, schedules recruitment tabling opportunities, created a T-shirt fundraiser to help generate more money for the team, being our team photographer, putting body paint on all of our team members to send them off the dock and so much more!
Stephanie Crandall- OSU!
Steph is a light in everyone’s life. It’s hard to believe that this was her first year on the team. I know I speak for all of Ohio state when I say that it feels like she’s been around for years! Steph is one of the smiliest, most supportive people I know. Always giving words of encouragement, and cheering people on at tournaments and practices. She is always positive. All of our girls, including me, aspire to be as great as Steph! She is eager to learn more about waterskiing, and picked up some mad tricking and jlaloming skills. Before the season even started, without anyone asking, she was super willing to help me organize and gather items for the auction at our Fundraiser tournament. This is a real testament to how supportive Steph is! We are so lucky to have her 🙂
