Did they attend every tournament this season to help out as a judge/driver/cheerleader? Help coach during the day after day, week after week? Provide some necessary gear improvements?

What alumni did you see make the biggest impact for their team or the region in the Midwest this year?

    Jaret and Jake French (OU/Akron)

Jaret and Jake have become the Godfathers of OU and Akron ski. In the offseason and during the week, they both help Akron skiers find time on the water. Pulling skiers as often as they can, teaching them how to slalom and trick, and giving some jump advice when the time comes for it. During tournament weekends, they were at every tournament, helping ferry gear and people to the docks, helping new skiers navigate the intimidating new setting, and helping to grow and continue the Akron/OU/Dayton community that has grown over the past few years.

I nominate Noah Lazzara for most supportive Alumni. Noah attended a tournament every weekend where he was a crucial member judging, driving, and operating technology. He is always thinking about skiing and getting himself involved in any way possible. Additionally, he serves as a guide and provides advice to the UW-Madison ski team on everything from boat maintenance to club issues. Without Noah Midwest collegiate skiing and the UW-Madison ski team would look very different.

I nominate Noah Lazarra, the reason being you could always count on seeing him at all the Team Midwest Tournaments. He bring so much to the ski community! I know I am personally so grateful for all he has done to help at all of the tournaments.
