Saturday, April 5th Purdue hosted the Down South Spring Tournament at Lake Grace, in Hillsboro, TN, which was celebrated as “the warmest Team Midwest spring tournament ever!” Teams from the Midwest and South merged for a day of skiing, sun, and fun! Midwest skiers were brushing off the ice, as it was the first set of the year for many. All three events were finished on Saturday, which was a hit among the men’s jumpers. Of the many highlights was an afternoon volleyball tournament including skiers, officials, and family. At the end of the day, University of Cincinnati had the strongest showing and took home the team win. A huge thanks goes out to the Soggy Bottom Ski Club for helping officiate and to Michael and Tom for hosting.
